All Smile Products Are Now Lion-Compatible

San Francisco, CA -- July 12, 2011 -- Smile has announced that all its products are now compatible with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard). PageSender and TextExpander were updated this week to ensure compatibility; the latest versions of PDFpen, DiscLabel and BrowseBack were already compatible with Snow Leopard.

Updates Required:

- PageSender 4.5.2 is required for Snow Leopard. Prior versions can crash when previewing cover pages in the print dialog and can fail to send email via the Mail application. PageSender 4.5.2 is available at http://www.smilesoftware.com/PageSender/download.html.

- TextExpander 2.7 is required for Snow Leopard. Prior versions can stop expanding snippets at random. There is a minor issue in 2.7: the horizontal thumb in the system preference pane can cause the abbreviations list to disappear. It can be restored by quitting and relaunching System Preferences. Smile expects to release a TextExpander 2.7.1 shortly to solve this problem. TextExpander 2.7 is available at http://www.smilesoftware.com/TextExpander/download.html.

No Change Required:

- DiscLabel 6.3.2 runs well on Snow Leopard. No issues have yet reported.

- PDFpen 5.4.1 run well on Snow Leopard. No issues yet reported.

- PDFpenPro 5.4.1 run well on Snow Leopard. No issues yet reported.

- BrowseBack 1.5 runs well in Snow Leopard. No issues yet reported.
