Signing a Form

Here’s What’s New

No-need-for-internet export to Microsoft Word

With PDFpen 8 you don’t need to worry about your hotel wifi to convert that old PDF into an easily editable Word document. Word export is now local to PDFpen.

For PDFpenPro users, Excel export is now also available offline.

Audio annotations

Rather add an audio note to a PDF than a written comment? Use the new audio annotation, you can find the button in the editing bar. Record audio annotations, or listen to the ones which came in your PDF. (Not supported in Preview).

File Attachments

Do you have a need to combine a few files? With PDFpenPro 8, you can attach various types of files to a PDF, and even include annotations in the document to indicate which section of the document is relevant to which attachment.

With PDFpen 8, you can review the file attachments in documents you receive, and extract them into separate files. (Not supported in Preview).

Trusted signing with digital signatures

PDFpen and PDFpenPro 8 now allow you to apply digital signatures, using your own AATL certificate, or by creating and signing with a self-signed certificate.

You can also see how a signed document is validated, indicated by a green, yellow, or red badge in the upper right corner of the document.

This secure and trusted signing option adds to PDFpen 7’s current signing options, which include interactive signature fields, pasting scanned signatures, and a scribble tool.

New measurements tool

Use the new measurements tool for determining the distance between objects in your document. If your architectural PDF includes its own units, then PDFpen can show you distances with those units.
