If you are filling out a form using PDFpen’s Text tool, or, indeed, are using any of the tools multiple times in a row, you can do it a lot faster if you double-click the Text tool before starting, this keeps the tool on for continuous use.
The Text tool will stay active and you’ll be able to fill out the whole form without switching back and forth between tools.
By default, the Text tool reverts to the Select tool after each use. Double-clicking overrides this behavior.
If you’d like to change that default, so that a single click of a tool goes straight to “continuous use” mode, open Preferences > Editing and turn on “Keep tools selected after use.”
