PDFpen for iPad and PDFpen for iPhone Add Google Drive and Jot Touch Support

San Francisco, CA – October 15, 2013 – Smile, a developer of productivity applications for Mac and iOS, has released PDFpen for iPad 1.6 and PDFpen for iPhone 1.4. The apps now have support for Google Drive import and export. The latest Adonit Jot Touch pens are supported.

TextExpander touch integration has been updated to support iOS 7. The update also includes bug fixes and improvements.

PDFpen for iPad is $14.99, PDFpen for iPhone is $4.99; both are available on the App Store and require iOS 6 or iOS 7.

What’s new in PDFpen for iPad 1.6/PDFpen for iPhone 1.4:
* Import and export from Google Drive
* Supports the latest Jot Touch pens
* Supports TextExpander under iOS7
* Improves object placement by placing objects in the center of the visible view, not the center of the entire page
* Adds ability to open a file via a custom URL with a specific page. Example: pdfpen:///Untitled.pdf?pg=3
* Fixes issue where edits in the current form field are lost when zooming
* Fixes issue on iOS7 where you could not change the font of a text box
* Fixes potential crash on iOS7 when using pressure sensitive pens
* Fixes potential crash on iOS7 when drawing a path
* Fixes potential crash on iOS7 when opening a document
* Updates Import/Export from Box for iOS 7
* Other minor fixes

PDFpen for iPad and PDFpen for iPhone features:
– Read and edit PDF documents on your iPad or iPhone
– Store documents in iCloud for sharing between devices
– Add text, images and signatures to PDFs
– Correct text in original PDF with editable text blocks
– Move, resize, copy and delete images in original PDF
– Import images from iPad Photo Library
– Save frequently-used images, signatures, objects and text for reuse
– Fill out PDF forms
– Add notes, comments, and freehand scribbles
– Draw lines, arrows, rectangles, ellipses and polygons
– Mark up documents with highlighting, underscoring and strikethrough; proofreading symbol collection included
– Copy, combine, rename and delete files
– Thumbnail view sidebar for easy skimming
– Organize documents with folders
– Email PDF files
– Retrieve and save PDFs directly with Dropbox, Evernote and Google Docs; share PDFs with a computer via Wi-Fi; transfer files using iTunes, FTP, WebDAV, and iDisk.
– Supports JaJa Stylus, Pogo Connect, and Jot Touch pressure-sensitive styluses.
