FOR RELEASE MARCH 19, 2015 (ANY TIME) PDFpen Scan+ 2.0 Features Touch-Free Scanning; Edit Free Scanning San Francisco, CA – MARCH 19, 2015 – Smile, the developer of productivity applications for Mac®, iPad® and iPhone®, has released PDFpen Scan+ 2.0, a new version of their mobile scanning and OCR app for iPhone and iPad. This new version has a redesigned camera screen with auto-scan mode, which will take the scan, automatically crop, and assign editing presets – all without a tap. Auto-scan mode will take a scan as soon as a page is in view of the camera. Auto-crop will crop the scan in the camera screen while showing a live preview of detected page edges. Presets for color mode and paper size are presented in the camera screen and the settings will be remembered across uses. PDFpen Scan+ 2.0 is a free update for current users, and for all others it’s available for $6.99 on the App Store℠. It requires an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch running iOS 8. What’s New:
