Who doesn’t love a good podcast? Not only to we listen to them, we sponsor quite a few. Here’s a sampling of shows we sponsor, you might want to take a listen. Feel free to tell us your faves because we’re always looking for other great podcasts to support.

Rocket: Our only podcast hosted by a candidate for US Congress (MA-08), founder of game studio Giant Spacekat Brianna Wu. Not to be upstaged, she’s joined by media maven and Microsoft Senior Cloud Developer Advocate, Christina Warren and Simone De Rochefort, who has the coolest Twitter handle of any of our hosts but more importantly does the BEST TextExpander reads. (Thanks, Simone!) If you’re not subscribed to Rocket, you should be.

Download: Host Jason Snell tackles the week’s most important or most interesting tech stories with a diverse, rotating panel of media and industry insiders. Stephen Hackett herds cats… er, produces… and occasionally they let him offer his opinion. This is a great show for keeping up with what’s going on in tech.

What the Tech?: Video podcast with hosts Andrew Zarian and Microsoft industry veteran Paul Thurott. A visual take on what’s new in tech, including product reviews and the occasional live unboxing. Andrew is the founder of GFQ (Guys from Queens) Network, and Paul has 2,654 followers and zero tweets on Twitter.

Core Intuition: Developers Daniel Jalkut and Manton Reece chat about indie software development for the Mac, iOS, and the Open Web. It’s a great place for devs and everyone to learn what makes indie developers tick. This is another founder-hosted ‘cast. Daniel founded macOS development shop Red Sweater Software, whose excellent MarsEdit was used in create this very blog post 😁. Most recently, Manton founded micro.blog, which he launched via a Kickstarter campaign.

Connected: Hosts Federico Viticci, Myke Hurley, and Stephen Hackett cover the Mac and iOS world, each bringing their personal perspective (and their delightful accents). All three hosts have the distinction of being founders. Federico founded news and editorial site MacStories.net. Myke and Stephen founded the Relay.fm podcast network.

Mac Geek Gab: Affable Mac Geeks Dave Hamilton and John F Braun head up one of our longest-sponsored shows. When they’re not geeking out, Dave is making music, and John is snapping photos. Dave is the co-founder of news site The Mac Observer and BackBeat Media. Both John and Dave bring a breadth of experience, interests, and talent to their Mac Geekery and to their show.

Upgrade: Hosts Jason Snell and Myke Hurley pursue a fairly broad mandate to “look at how companies including Apple, Amazon and Google shape the technology in our lives and how people do creative work in the digital age.” You’ll find lots of Apple product talk here as well as interesting convos about voice assistants, smartphones, and the evolution of digital media.

MacCast: Adam Christianson is the original Mac geek, and The MacCast is our other longest-sponsored show. It’s still all about all things Macintosh, with the occasional foray into those new-fangled iPhones and iPads, and we love it that way.

Mac Power Users: The amazing and incomparable Katie Floyd and David Sparks (aka MacSparky) bring you this long-running, in-depth, and fantastic podcast. Both lawyers by day, they focus on how everyday users can get more from their Macs, iPads, iPhones, and software. They also do themed shows focusing on the workflows of specific well-known people, which are a delight to listen to and learn from.

Systematic: Automation Uhr-nerd and renaissance man Brett Terpstra interviews a new guest each week, often focused on what makes their creative juices flow. Brett also runs the excellent site BrettTerpstra.com where he publicly indulges his lusts for productivity automation, much to the delight of his readers.
